Advancement and Admissions Director Announced

I am pleased to announce that Mrs. Jenn Canzano will now serve as Advancement and Admissions Director, effective immediately. As Advancement Director, Mrs. Canzano will oversee the school’s communications, fundraising, and donor relations programs. She will be assisted by Mrs. Laureen Fish, current Website Manager and Social Media Director, who will provide full-time support to the school’s Advancement and Admissions efforts.

Mrs. Mary Loftus, Annual Fund Coordinator, retired on September 30, 2020. I am grateful for Mary’s efforts these past three years in putting the annual fund on a firm footing.

As a result of this new structure, Mr. Kyle Fratassio (JPII ’16) will teach Grades 5 and 6 Social Studies full-time. Mr. Frattasio has a degree in History and is seeking teaching credentials. Ms. McDonough will take over Grade 5 Technology Class in addition to teaching Grades 6 and 7 Technology Classes, and continue as the school’s graphic designer/photographer.

It is especially important to enhance the school’s Advancement efforts at this time. Needs have increased due to COVID-19 realities, yet also the school’s reputation in the community has been underscored by our teachers’ dedicated efforts in achieving in-person learning.

Mrs. Canzano is well-positioned to grow the school’s Advancement program. She knows students and families, she has vision and ideas to expand the program, she works hard, and most importantly, she embraces the school’s mission. The school last had a full-time Development Director in 2015, and I am delighted that Mrs. Canzano now steps into this key position.

Best regards,

Christopher W. Keavy
President
